OUR STORY *
Our History
The Evants family purchased Midtown Coffee at the end of 2016, with only the City Mall location to call home. However, by the end of 2018, we began expanding. Our first additional location came as a coffee trailer in Dardanelle that quickly grew into a permanent drive-thru location.
In 2019, we opened our third location, the "Express" on North El Paso. It grew quickly through 2020, and we soon outgrew the space. This led us to move Express in September 2021 to the 1108 North Arkansas location, now nicknamed “North.” There we now enjoy both a drive-thru and inside seating.
We continued our expansion again in 2022 with a new location in Atkins, conveniently located across from Casey's, just off I-40.
And finally, we recently partnered with Arkansas Tech University to add another location within Brown Hall on campus. As you can tell, we’ve been busy expanding all throughout the River Valley. We hope you’re as excited as we are to keep offering the same quality coffee and quality service keeping people first, then coffee.
Our Name
You may have known us as Midtown Coffee for years, but as of Fall 2024, we officially transitioned all of our locations and operations to Natural State Coffee Roasters. We started this brand back in 2018 as a local roastery to supply our own shops and provide quality beans to other shops across the state.
Since then, Natural State Coffee Roasters has sold thousands of pounds of coffee and has expanded into other merchandise such as T-shirts, mugs, hats, and more. Eventually, it just made sense to us to combine the two brands into one. Arkansas, "The Natural State," holds a special place in our hearts, and we love unifying our business with the beautiful state we call home.
This name change allows us to better reflect the areas we do business and highlights our regional growth. Rest assured, you'll still find the same great staff and ownership you've come to know and love (And your punch cards and gift cards are just as good as before). We're excited to offer this upgraded brand and continue expanding with you!

All our hours for each of our shops are listed on our Locations page. If a holiday or other event would cause us to change our hours, you can find those changes either on our Google listings or physically posted at each location.
